Welcome to the Seattle Poggie Club.
We are a club of Northwest fishers who's interest not only tie to the catching of fish in the Northwest, but also their propagation and perpetuation. Our members are interested in such clubs activities as stream restoration, hatchery, fishing legislation, fishing classes, as well as fishing trips.
We want to personnally invite all of you who visit our site and to attend one of our general meetings. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Seattle City Light Building. Press the button below to see how to get to our meeting place. We look forward to seeing you!!
Stream Restoration Project
Planting Salmon with the Kids

To improve our fishing skills and knowledge. Each of our general club meetings include not only fishing reports from local areas around Washington, but speakers whose subjects include mooching, trolling, bait cutting, marine electronics, boating safety, and guides from areas in and around Washington. Our interest in fishing extend beyond just salmon in the salt, but also bottom fishing, trout, steelhead and river fishing.
Poggie club activities offer opportunities for follow fishermen to meet and associate with others with similar interest. Find others with experience in fishing styles you use and the locations you fish.
We're an organization which not only watches government activities which affect the sportfisherperson, but also will take action and make our voices heard to those which can safeguard our rights. This enhancement also includes taking action on safeguarding salmon habitat. Take a look at our Eagle Creek hatchery program on our WEB site.
We achieve this via our meetings, our Poggie Booth at local sportmen's shows, this WEB page, and the Salmon Classes we offer to the general public. See our Salmon Classes WEB page
What's a club without them! We have trips for Salmon in the San Juans, Pocession Bar, Straits, Columbia river, Humptulips, etc. We also fish trips for trout, steelhead, halibut, bottom fish, and sturgeon. Take a look at our calendar of events for our outings and club activites.
We have discounts with local charters, and BoatUS. Occasionally we also have members and speakers who will also give us discounts on items they sell.
